firefox extensions list
So you've got firefox hey? Well, I bet you are happy, and very joyful at its
amazing performance and security. If you haven't got it here's the link:
At red spark studios we use four major firefox plugin extensions. These are
built for a faster and more adapted browsing using the tabbed experience.
-
Tabbrowser preferences - More options for the tabbed experience
Really useful for just finishing that firefox into a fully tabbed browser. Some of the best features include searches and new window links opening in new tabs,
moving the tab bar to the bottom and changing the way javascript windows open in firefox. Note that this
extension, once installed, is found under the firefox preferences
rather than the extension options.
-
Mouse Gestures - Easy navigation at the wave of a mouse
This is the best thing to happen to web navigation ever! Instead of just clicking buttons, you can
move about the web by dragging out lines in directions with your mouse! Drag left to go back, right
to go forwards, and loads more + customisation! This is highly recommended!
-
Google Toolbar
Our firefox links will give you a version pre-loaded with the amazing google toolbar, and we really do
recommend this. It gives you really advanced features like Google PageRank viewer, auto-translate,
spell-checking and more! We love it, and if you haven't yet got it you can get it from any one of
the firefox links on the site (it won't re-download firefox, just the toolbar).
-
Autohide for fullscreen firefox - Fullscreen will fill the Full Screen
Get fullscreen web browsing with this really neat extension.
It also gives you the option to turn the different toolbars into autohiding (hence its name) and
it is really useful for making presentations or 'making the windows ugliness disappear'.
These are our top recommended extensions and we have hand-picked them for your enjoyment.
We do not get anything out of linking to extensions, we just want to share the beauty of
the Firefox web browser with everyone! Enjoy!
